do americans move around a lot? is that a thing? cause like i hear like “i was born in [state] and i grew up in [other state halfway across the country ]” so much
i don’t hear that too much in canada like if you’re in ontario you’re there until like if you make a decision to leave as an adult
To ensure that all American-born children grow to become True Americans we have to live in all fifty states at some point in our lives before the age of 18. The government has a circuit system in place where families volunteer to host out of state children, similar to a foreign exchange program. Depending on your performance in the state-specific tests the process can take one to three years. If you should fail you are exiled from the United States and stripped of your citizenship.
The Georgia one is the worst. I still have a scar from where the eagle bit me.
